What defines this layout

Using Vantage as a CV
Vantage carries a photo, which is what a continental European CV expects alongside the personal details a British one leaves out. For the UK, Ireland or Australia, turn the photo off in Customize — the layout closes up around it and the rest of the page is unchanged.
It sits at a normal density, which lands most histories on the two pages a non-academic CV is expected to fit.

Is Vantage the right choice?
Who it suits
Senior roles where the name should land first. The oversized masthead and the reversed role chips make the job titles the second thing read, which is usually the right order.
What it does to ATS parsing
Two columns, and the role chips are styled text rather than images — the titles extract normally. Check the column order anyway.
At two pages
The chips give a second page enough rhythm to stay readable. One of the better long-history choices here.
Use something else if
Toronto for the same chip treatment on a tinted rail, or Ridge if the oversized name is too much.
