Capsule resume & CV template
A ruled box around the name with the skills run together on one line. Contained, tidy and short by design.

What defines this layout
- Sans-serif typeface
- Single column
- No photo
- Headings over a full-width rule
- Dates right-aligned against each role
Every one of these is a setting, not a constraint — accent colour, font, size, spacing and page margins stay yours under Customize, and switching template later re-renders what you’ve written rather than starting it over.
Using Capsule as a CV
Capsule needs nothing changed to serve as a UK, Irish or Australian CV — those markets mean by "CV" exactly what the US means by "resume", and this is already that document. Add a photo and personal details only if you are applying into continental Europe.
It sits at a normal density, which lands most histories on the two pages a non-academic CV is expected to fit.
More on the differences: CV templates and CV examples.
Is Capsule the right choice?
Who it suits
Short applications that should look finished rather than sparse. The boxed name and single-line skills together make a page that ends on purpose.
What it does to ATS parsing
Single column with a ruled box around the name. The inline skills extract as one run.
At two pages
Poor fit — the whole shape of it is a one-page document.
Use something else if
Rampart for a longer history, or Sapphire if you want the inline skills without the box.
